Congratulations to Claire Briney, the recipient of the 2011 LAG scholarship.
Claire
demonstrates a sincere interest in art as seen in her art classes, and
through the artistic projects she creates. Some of her artistic
projects include creating large 3-D art sculptures in science, and
creating animal themed computer graphic designed paper manipulatives
used by elementary students for Science Day. She also has extensive
experience in video, graphic arts, and theatre. She demonstrates her
sincere interest in art through the Art classes taken throughout her
high school career.
Claire will graduate from Lincoln High in
2011. She will continue her education in the Fall 2011 at UNL with a
double major in Art and Biology. Her goal is to apply and improve
visual literacy in Science.
