About

BY artists FOR artists The Lincoln Artists’ Guild (LAG) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was established in 1920. Our mission and primary purpose is to educate, promote, and encourage artists’ development at all levels. LAG is an organization open to all people with a common goal to advance the visual arts. We provide educational opportunities, workshops, lectures, participate in local and regional art shows, and more.

Our local businesses have supported us by generously donating space for our meetings, and for exhibiting our artwork. Thanks to this support, we have been able to grow and provide a forum for visual arts at a grassroots level for the community and surrounding areas.

Regular program meetings are held the 1st Tuesday from 7-9 p.m.  Meetings are held at the LUX Center for the Arts located at 2601 N 48th Street, Lincoln, NE 68504.

Our special events and exhibits are posted on our website,
and announced in the LAG newsletter sent out to members.
